Holiday Lights 2009-2010

I want to give a shout out to my neighbors on Oakwood Avenue for offering the most jaw-dropping display of holiday lights I've ever seen. Behind their hedge of San Pedro cactus and barbed wire, a psychotropic wonderland of illuminated Christmas cheer unfolded in endless layers. As remarkable as it may seem, all of these products ARE

commercially available, but the tableau in which they were arranged was truly inspired. I had to turn the truck around – there's just too much to take in at one

viewing. Now with New Years over, I suppose they'll be packing it all away so their neighbors will be able to sleep at night, but it's kind of a shame. Can't wait to see what y'all come up with next year.
