Calico Ghost Town

Calico Ghost Town, formerly the Silver King and other assorted mines, was bought by Knotts Berry Farm and reconstructed.

There's a little something for everybody here – a little railroad, some historic buildings, some re-enactments of boomtown antics and my favorite, the Maggie Mine. The Calico district represented the richest strike in California in the 1890s, first with silver, later borax.
